Company efforts are focused on waste removal and disposal as well as recycling through the use of “state of art” collection vehicles and highly motivated personnel.

Note: Any brush placed curbside must be cut and bundled not to exceed 3 feet in length nor 35 lbs in weight. Maximum of 3 bundles per home in excess of what can not fit into garbage toter.

Remove lids and rinse all food and liquids. Examples: beverage bottles, food and condiment bottles and jars (jelly, mustard, mayonnaise). No mirrors, windows, ceramics, or other glass or glazed materials are allowed.
Aluminum, steel, and tin beverage and food cans rinsed of all food or liquids. Aerosol cans emptied and nozzle removed. Baking tins rinsed and remaining contents removed.

During the term of this contract, the City reserves the right to add or delete items.
Twice annually – to correspond with the completion of City of Helotes bulk collection schedule (week after) mostly like in April and October.
Remember: Everything must be put out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday of your pick up week.
Bulk items include: stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, discarded bathroom fixtures, furniture, mattresses, television sets, and other bulky waste materials. Items such as swing sets, play scapes, basketball goals, trampolines etc. should be disassembled before being placed curbside. Bulk item collection does not cover construction debris (waste building materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair, or demolition operations), dead animals, brush, yard waste, rocks, concrete of any kind, landscape timbers, fencing, hazardous waste, or stable matter with weights or volumes greater than those allowed for containers.
The collection vehicles will pass down each street only once.
