Company efforts are focused on waste removal and disposal as well as recycling through the use of “state of art” collection vehicles and highly motivated personnel.

Residential Garbage Collection

Frequency of Pickup

2 times per week (Mon/Thurs) collect on trash.
1 time per week (Mon) collection on recycling.

Note: Any brush placed curbside must be cut and bundled not to exceed 3 feet in length nor 35 lbs in weight. Maximum of 3 bundles per home in excess of what can not fit into garbage toter.

Updated Recyclable Materials List

Paper

Most types of paper, such as circulars, catalogs, carbonless paper, dry goods packaging with liners removed (example: cereal, pasta, rice, beer/soda cartons), envelopes, file folders, junk mail, magazines, newspapers, office paper, paperback books, paper bags, paper towel/toilet paper cores and non-metallic gift wrap. All cardboard must be cut into 2′ x 2′ strips & bundled together in order to be collected as recyclable material. If cardboard is not cut as specified it will be disposed of with the trash. No phone books, large cardboard boxes or wet or yellowed paper will be picked up.

Metal Cans

Aluminum, steel, and tin beverage and food cans rinsed of all food or liquids. Aerosol cans emptied and nozzle removed. Baking tins rinsed and remaining contents removed.

Plastics

Labeled #l through #7. Remove lids and rinse any remaining food or liquids from containers or trays. Examples include: Beverage bottle, shampoo and lotion bottles, meat trays, condiment bottles, prescription and medicine bottles, plastic grocery bags tied together into a bundle.

No glass material

During the term of this contract, we reserves the right to add or delete items.

Bulk Pickup

Twice annually – to correspond with the completion of City of Helotes bulk collection schedule (week after) mostly like in April and October.

Remember: Everything must be put out by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday of your pick up week.

Bulk items include: stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, discarded bathroom fixtures, furniture, mattresses, television sets, and other bulky waste materials. Items such as swing sets, play scapes, basketball goals, trampolines etc. should be disassembled before being placed curbside. Bulk item collection does not cover construction debris (waste building materials resulting from construction, remodeling, repair, or demolition operations), dead animals, brush, yard waste, rocks, concrete of any kind, landscape timbers, fencing, hazardous waste, or stable matter with weights or volumes greater than those allowed for containers.

The collection vehicles will pass down each street only once.

Customer must reimburse C6 for lost or stolen equipment at a cost of $65.00 for toter and $12.81 for recycle bin. If you are a resident wishing to purchase a recycle bin, please mail us a letter with your name and address along with a check in the amount of $12.81. Once we have received your check and your payment has been posted to your account, a recycle bin will be delivered to your home. Please allow for a week to 10 days to receive your bin. If you have not received your bin after 10 days, please contact our office 210-375-0066.
